Cavin is 3 Months old!!

Look who's getting big!!  I can't believe 3 months have come and gone!  Cavin is growing up so fast! I just love being his mom, he brings so much joy and happiness to our family. This month Cavin has really changed!  Some of the highlights.....
Cavin falls asleep best if I rock him a little bit or feed him then just lay him in his crib for naps, with his blanket on his check!  He usually takes a 2 to 3 hour nap in the morning and a 2 hour afternoon nap with a couple little cat naps!
Cavin slept through the WHOLE night for the first time the night before he turned 3 months!  ( I thought it was a great way to celebrate turning 3 months!) Usually he goes to bed at 8 with a bath and a little rub down, pj's, feeding, 2 to 3 books, family prayer, and a few primary songs then he's out!  He's been waking up about 3 am and right back to sleep after a 20 minute feed!  then up at 530 to feed again!
Cavin can hold his head up really well when he's on his belly he'll look from side to side.  He also can follow a rattle or toy from side to side.  He has just started to enjoy toys, he'll hit his rattles and just smile at the noise!  He also is starting to grab for things and hold them.
He still loves his fists and trys to find the whole thing in his mouth!  He still loves his binkie to sleep with.  He also loved to be swaddled up tight at  night.
Cavin only eats mom's milk so far. He is a very smiley baby!!  He loves to talk back and forth, he'll make a noise and I'll try and make a similar one back and he smiles and makes more noises, we can go back and forth for a good 5 minutes and he loves it! (so do I!!)
He is still a mover!  He has acid reflux so we give him something for that, but over all he's healthy and strong!
We have a few little nicknames for Cavin, mainly just Nugget, bugs, and Cav.
Cavin, I want you to know, youe mom and dad love you so much!!  Dad came home from school the other day and said, "I never thought I could love someone like I do Cavin." It's so true, we love you so much!  We love to talk to you and look at you!  We love your smile and sometimes when you cho it sounds like you are really talking to us and it just melts our hearts!  I can't believe I'm so lucky to have such a perfect baby.  Being a mom is hard work and I'm definitely NOT PERFECT or even close but I do love you more then anyone ever could, and it's totally worth it!  There are so many things I hope for you, but if nothing else I hope you always know you are and will always be my sweet little baby, and I will NEVER stop loving you, and actually my love for you is growing everyday! 
P.S. I forgot to mention look at Cavin's chunky legs!!  I Just love them!!

my Gap baby

 Before Mitchell left on his mission we took advantage of him working at old Navy and getting 50% off at the Gap!  we got Cavin some cute clothes!  This outfit was just too cute I had to have a little photo opt!  When we are outside his eyes are so blue!!  I love him!

 I'm the one that takes pictures so I have lots of pictures of Marcus and Cavin together or just Cavin, but not many of Cavin and I so I asked Marcus to take one of us!!  we're in our PJ's but I still love my sweet boy!

I put Cavin in the Bumboo and he wasn't so sure about it, but I think a few more times and he'll like the new view on the world!! 

New Tie

This sweet boy just melts my heart!!  That smile is so sweet!!  I love this little guy!!  I made him some Ties for church this one is my favorite!! it turned out great I think! 

Thanks you dad for getting Cavin to smile in all of these!!

I was a little nervous to Cavin across country but he did so good!! he was a great traveler and such a happy baby the whole trip!

At the 180 mile finish!  I'm so proud of Marcus and Jeff for biking for such a good cause!  Way to go boys!

Tour of UTAH

 Marcus waiting for the riders to come up the hill!!  He has never seen a climb and we barely made it but we raced to Ogden to wait the pro bike riders climb Ogden pass, and we made it!

10 weeks old
