September

This month has flown by so fast I cannot believe it is fall! Medical school is hard of course but for the most part we are getting by great Marcus is doing amazing in his tests. He has been extremely successful and is even tone back a little on the studying. he has realize that he doesn't need to be the top of the class he just needs to pass and be successful so the more time he can spend with us and less time studying but still get good grades it's a win-win for all of us! 

He is really liking medical school and learning a lot. we feel so lucky that we are here and we know we picked the right place for us and his future.

Best job!

Lately I have just fallen in love with being a mom. I have always loved being a mom but lately there is just something in me that is addicted to my kids. I laugh I cry and I just love to watch them in everything they do. Cavin had turned into the talking Mr. discovery learning everything sponge kind a boy and I love every second of it. He is always asking "mom what you doing" and he always is getting into something, which some people may say is a bad thing but I love that he's always looking for something to learn and explore. 

Stella oh boy where do I even start with that girl she is into everything never sit still for anything. She can crawl anywhere in anything or up anything! There is nothing that can stop her! She is a easy going happy baby! I just can't believe that she's going to be one in just two short months! 

I have the best job in the world these to bring so much joy to my life I can't even imagine a day without them. The love I have is exploding from my heart every day.

Living my dream

As I walk with Cavin on his bike and Stella in the stroller I have to stop and think I am living my dream. Yes we miss Marcus a lot but in reality he's gone probably as much as he's going to be gone the rest of our life's hopefully he'll have a few more days off and not so many late nights studies but overall he's gone most business hours so no matter what job he had he would be gone. 

I have always dreamed of being a mom and doing fun things with my kids and that is just what I'm doing! going for bike ride for walks playing with trains and trucks going to the pool that's what being a mom is all about! 

The more we get settled here in West Virginia the more I realize this is our life and I love it I love being a mom I love being a wife I love being me I'm not perfect and I have lots to learn and grow, but I feel like true happiness comes from my family and knowing that we are still together forever and ever and all eternity! I may not have all the time in the world with marcus right now but I know that I have him forever and that makes me so happy, because he truly is my best friend! 

I love this adventure were on together as a family and I wouldn't trade this time for anything! 

Stella is 10 months

 Stella is 10 months old!! She is changing so much these past couple weeks, a lot has happened actually in her life.  Some sad and some good. Okay where do I even begin Stella has been sick for over three weeks and it's been really hard and is really stressful.  It started out with just a cold which I thought was from teething and what not but then a couple days later I realize she had white spots all over her mouth so I took her into the doctor and found out she had thrush. They also checked her ears and she had a double ear fiction but the doctor said it wasn't a normal air infection she had a thick mucus like fluid in both of her ears that was causing her a lot of pain and discomfort she immediately wanted me to take her to the ENT not knowing if her eardrums ruptured or not.  Two days later we took her to the ENT to find out that she only had infection and fluid in her ears but I love hearing loss as well. Not knowing if the hearing loss was caused by the fluid or another reason if it was permanent damage or fixable. The ENT recommended that we put tubes in her ears to see what that did for her. He said it may not improve it at all or it may prove it 100% with her being so young and having so much fluid and problems with her ears he wanted to get it done as soon as possible. She also has a cyst on her ear from birth that we've known about but since they started to drain and get larger they said we should remove as well. So Stella is scheduled for her first surgery on September 30. I am nervous of course being her mom but I also want to make sure we do whats best for her. she has had three double ear infections that have given her high fevers and extreme pain and I just think that she needs to be out of pain in the most comfortable setting possible. I truly hope that this will improve her hearing! She's a very special baby to us and I don't want her to suffer Or have any disadvantages in anyway. 

Now that she is healthy she is happy and cute As ever she is the cutest giggly baby her smile just melts my heart! Cavin and her are so funny together, he loves to hold her and carry her around the best that he can considering the way the same! 

She is starting to become a mama and daddy's girl always wanting us to hold her and love her! She is busy, she isn't walking yet but she is standing crawling climbing and jumping on everything!! 

She has three cute teeth with one on the top coming in soon! She has this smile that is just so cute where she closes her eyes and shows all of her teeth i love her so much! 

She is a good eater and loves food she loves to feed herself and she loves to try new things. 

Stella can climb up the stairs and tries to keep up with her brother wherever he goes she loves the sandbox she loves all his toys! she really loves to tear apart the train track after we've built it!

Stella is a very special girl to me I love her to pieces and pieces and feel so lucky to be her mom.

August update

Our life is going so fast and crazy but it's good too! Medical school has been everything I imagined and more, it's really hard more so emotionally for me, I really miss Marcus being here and being able to just sit back and hang out, he's here most nights but studying so he's not really here!  I just feel over- whelmed a lot and just needing a break from being a mom but you never get a break!  Being a mom is a full time 24-7 job and with a husband that is super busy it's all you all the time.  Don't get me wrong Marcus is amazing and such a great help when he can but he's just busy and gone all day and all night!!  Then when he is home it's dinner, clean up dinner, baths, get kids in bed, and then he's off studying again!  I think the hardest thing is I want some time just Marcus and I or Even just me but when Marcus is home I want all of us to be together!  The kids miss Marcus too and they want to be with him so it's just hard because we don't want to miss a second with him!!  so Poor Marcus is ALWAYS busy always with the Us or at school!  He doesn't get a break at all!! We need to find a little better balance so we all get time together and apart!!!

We have been super busy but I truly love being a mom and I love my kids!  This month was harder being that all 3 of us got sick and Stella was sick for over 3 weeks. We are all healthy and happy now!

 Every morning we watch the kids get on the school bus and on Wednesday we watch the garbage truck get the trash!  I love our breakfast on the porch!  I love being a mom!

 For Grandparents day I wanted to get some pictures it didn't go as planned but they are still so cute!
