St Patricks day, we are lucky!

 I have to say I feel so lucky to have such a cute family! we love each other and are so happy to have each other!  I made ties for Marcus and Cavin since St Patrick's day was on Sunday, I sure thought they where so cute!  I love holidays!

Favorite treat!

 We took Cavin to the movies a few weeks ago I love love licorish at the movies so I brought a bag well Cavin was getting fussy so I gave him one and now if there is a bag around he'll find it!!  he will get a piece and carry it around sucking on it for hours!  It makes me laugh!  I love this guy!

Las Vegas for spring break!

 Cavin loved the fish and would just get really close to the glass and watch them! 

 This is the Shark tank it was so cool to see 20 or so shark, it was really dark though so it made Cavin a little nervous! 

 I loved watching the Jelly Fish!  they are so weird looking and just so cool!

 They had a tank you could feel the sting rays it was cool, they are so slimy though.... yuck

 I think Cavin was just in deep thought the whole time and couldn't quite figure them out!

 I love these little guys!  they look old and grumpy!

 There are 4 sharks just in he one picture! they really  where every where which was cool.  I told Marcus this is as close as I'll let him get to swimming with the sharks! (his dream)

 we where getting ready for the day and Cavin was just crawling around the room and before I knew it he was on top of the food and trying to get a banana!  oh boy we have a climber on our hands!

 The pools where so much fun and just had a blast playing together as a family! 

 Cavin got a little mad cause he wanted to do it by himself but once we did he would fall over or a wave would get him so hard for him to learn but he did great!

 It was so sunny we had to keep Cavin well covered no sun burns for my little man!

 We wanted to keep this trip as low cost as we could so we made our own breakfast instead of going out! Plus they are gluten Free so stuck to Cavin's diet!

 We went to the arcades at circus circus and played some games, we had a great time and even won this HUGE stuffed Griffie!  Cavin and Marucs sure love it!  

We stayed at 2 different hotels so we could get more fun at new pools!  it was truly so fun!  this pool had a water slide thru the shark tank!  then you could swim right up to the fish and sharks! Cavin loved this so much!

 Cavin was so good on the WHOLE trip and so tired and ready for his bed and room back!

9 Months old

Another month just flying by!  I can't believe how much this little guy has learned this month!!  He's so smart like his dad!  Cavin is growing and learning everyday, and part of me loves it and part of me is sad to see this time just fly by!  Cavin is now a pro at crawling up the stairs!! He loves it, and thinks it's a game!  He can also stand for quite a long time, 30 seconds or more!  He is making more and more noises! He'll give me a kiss, but its all or nothing!  because it's a full open mouth!
Cavin is a laughter! He giggles and smiles all the time! Marcus can really get him going and I sometimes get nervous he can't breath he laughs so hard!  He is starting to walk if you hold his hands and is so proud of himself! We have to strap him in the stroller now because he wants to get out.
This month has been a little hard and good for me as a mom,  my foot zone teacher, Kristen,  suggester we try a gluten free diet with Cavin, I really didn't want to because I guess I'm lazy and it seemed too hard.  Also I just wanted him to eat anything and everything he wants!  Well I started it this month and within a week Cavin's sleeping greatly improved! We saw our first 10 hour stretch!!  woot woot! I couldn't be happier!   We had a couple not so good nights, but still better then before, but the bad nights where my fault because we had friends in town and I didn't keep him on the same schedule, but once we got back to normal he is back to sleeping an average 7 to 8 hour stretch, which is great!  Then Last night I didn't go in and let him cry for 4 minutes and he went back to sleep!!  so he didn't nurse or be held for 11 hours!  I hope he doesn't wake up anymore in the night but I am a total fan of falling back to sleep on his own!!  This is the only thing that has worked in his sleeping, going Gluten Free.  For a baby it's not even hard.  I still have a hard time but like I said that's because I'm just lazy!  We'll see how he does and I might try re-introducing some when he gets bigger but for now he loves his fruits and Veggies so why not!
Cavin can sign milk, food/eat, and finished are the ones he really knows.  He loves baby signing time, I mean he really loves it, he could be screaming and I turn it on and he just sits and smiles at the babies!!  It's a life saver when I was sick and didn't feel good.
Cavin is a true explorer, he loves to look into everything, every crack, every box, and anything he can find!  He doesn't like to sit still at all!  I mean not even 1 minute to get his diaper changed!!  But I love it!  It keeps me on my toes!
I also quit my babysitting job, it was nice for a little extra money but I was feeling so busy and tired, I didn't feel I was really enjoying being a mom.  I have only been without it a week but I already have seen a huge difference in how I have more time to focus on Cavin and really sit and be with him!  I love this little guy and really would do anything for him, I love my time we have together and the time he lets me just rock him and he lays his sweet little head on my shoulder! He loves to play with my hair or rub my arm and I just love it, I love that he knows I'm his mom, I feel so lucky to have him as mine!  He brings so much joy to my life I can't ever imagine my life or even one day with out him!
16 lbs 9 ozs, so not even on the chats!! he's little just like his mom!  20% for this height and head.
