Our vacation started Saturday morning bright and early, we had the car packed the night before and got the kids in the car and drove all day! Both Cavin and Stella did great! They took naps and had snacks Cavin and I watched movies. I was super impressed with how smooth the trip went! We got to Las Vegas and Cavin wanted to go swimming right away! We hung out for a while, the pool was icy cold, but Cavin still loved it!
That night we meet up with Jon and went to dinner at a buffet. I think we shocked Jon by Cavin and the work it takes to get though dinner with him climbing, jumping, and spilling everything! Just a few more months and Jon will get to feel it first hand!
That night I got the fun opportunity to do some zone work on some fun girls, it was great to meet and get to know them and teach them somethings. I was shocked how powerful the zone really is! I got home late and Marcus had the kids asleep in bed! So I got to go straight to bed!
Sunday we woke up early and drove to San Diego! The drive went great and we made good time, with only a little California traffic! We checked into our hotel and went swimming at the pool and then went to the beach, Cavin was in love! He loves the sand and water, he was one happy little boy!!
We got back to the hotel and went to bed, each night was a little battle gettin Cavin to sleep but he finally went to sleep!
Monday morning we woke up and got ready and went to Sea World!! It was so much fun we went to the whales first and Cavin just kept saying "I ride, I ride" everyone around us laughed but he just kept saying I ride and really wanted to ride the whales! It was cute! We loves them! We probably could have sat there all day watching them! We went and saw the dolphins, otters, seals, and all kinds of fish! Cavins favorite was the tank with the turtles and lots of fish, we walked up to it and he kept saying "hi, hi" to all the fish he does it in this really cute higher pitch voice, with just so much love and excitement!
We stayed til about 1pm and went home for naps and all 4 of us napped we where so tired from traveling and busy day!
That night we went back to sea world and walked around it was great because most people where leaving or left so it was low key and not busy! We even took Cavin on his first ride! It was an Elmo up and down ride and that whole night he kept asking to go up! He loved it!
Tuesday we went to the beach in the morning and Cavin had a great time, well we all had a great time! Cavin played in the sand and in the water he rode his bike and was one happy little boy running around! We went back to the hotel for lunch and naps and that's afternoon went to seaworld. We went to the dolphin show which we all loved and even got a little wet from the splashes! We went on a lot of Cavin rides, he just wanted to go again and again! We went out to dinner at Denny's that night because we where really hungry and tired! We went to the hotel and went to bed! Marcus and I wanted to watch a movie every night but always fell asleep 15 minutes in!! Haha
Wednesday was an all day beach day we had a blast Marcus went surfing and I chased Cavin around the beach and we played in the sand rode his bike and even played in the freezing water! We went back for naps and swimming at the pool. then back to the beach to try and get family pictures which didn't turn out so great but that's okay tired kids and a lot of people and super windy didn't make for the best opportunity.
Thursday morning we got up and went swimming at the pool and packed up our stuff and got in the car to head back to Vegas right at nap time! We got to Vegas and went to dinner and hung out with my brother jon. We went to bed early so we could get up and drive home all day Friday. Sad that vacation is over, but excited for my bed and cavins bed and excited to get back into good sleeping schedules!!
This was a vacation I'll never forget so much fun and a great time as a family!! Yes at times it's hard to travel with two young babies but really it was great and they did great! I wouldn't have done it any different! Who knows when or if we'll have this opportunity again.
