Look who's 6 months old!

 Wow time is just flying by!  I can't believe not only is Cavin 6 months old he is sitting and learning so much!!  I really missed the baby stage at first but now I just love him in every stage!  He is the happiest, funnest baby I have ever meet!  He makes me laugh so hard.  Last night as I fed him he fell asleep in my arms and usually I just put him in his crib right away and go back to bed, but I just couldn't I just wanted to enjoy that moment,  because I know I'll blink my eyes and he'll be asking for the car keys.  I LOVE being mom, I knew from the time I was a little girl I wanted to be a mom but I never knew how much I would truly love it!  Don't get me wrong it's hard work, and I'm so glad I'm blessed with a healthy happy baby and a very supportive husband!  This truly is the best job in the world. 
What can Cavin do?  He can roll from tummy to back but just can't quite get 100% over from back to tummy!  so close!  He can sign Milk, and he understands milk, food, diaper, and sleep. ( and I think I LOVE YOU!)  He can shake hands with Marcus he won't do it for me but every time for Marcus!  He can sit and now sit and go into crawling position! He was close to crawling but now that he sits he is happy just to sit and play and I forget to put him on his belly to practice!
Somethings Cavin loves, he still loves his binkie and blanket to sleep, now he likes his glow worm and music on to fall asleep.  He Loves his bath time!  He really loves when dad gets him up from his nap or bed, and just loves his dad!  He loves when we make the sound of a Monkey he laughs every time! He loves food and to drink out of a cup!  He still loved his excersaucer. He loved to put everything in his month.  He loves to pull hair.  (I think he's jealous and wants some!)
What Cavin eats,  he loves food so much!  If Marcus and I are eating he'll fuss til he gets some, he likes sweet potatoes, peas, cereal, pears, apple sauce, prunes, and really everything we've given him.  He still can't drink out of a bottle but likes cups and sippy cups.  If I'm eating an apple he is all over me!  he can't get enough! 
Cavin doesn't make a lot of baby noises just RARRRRs like a lion, and growls at us, it's pretty funny! He is talking more and more, and really likes other babies and kids!
Cavin, your mom and dad love you more every day and so grateful you are in our family!! you make everyday so much fun!!  we can't wait to teach you new things and try everyday to teach you something new!  Thanks for being the greatest blessing in our family!   

Happy Thanksgiving

 We had a great Thanksgiving (Cavin's First) we spent it with the Bruce family.  We spent most of the day there and it was great!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE spending time with family and now I feel my time with Marcus is more rare then a rare diamond.  So when I get time with him it's better then any gift I could ever dream of!  I LOVE him so much!

 Cavin loved his sweet potatoes and pears!  Cavin was such a sweet baby and even though he didn't get good naps and was sick still just happy and smiley! 

I wasn't only one who loved his time with Marcus!!  Cavin and Marcus are best friends!!  Thanksgiving was great but we got sick, all of us so really ended lame.  Marcus was sick on his birthday so that was a bummer.  

Cavin is a SITTER!

 These are funny pictures, but I realized I haven't taken pictures of Cavin sitting yet, so I got right on it!!  Cavin can sit really good now, 5 and a half months old, he could sit before that but I wouldn't leave his side.  Now I can leave for a minute and not worry about him falling over!!  He will fall over some times when he trys to reach something too far away, or he gets laughing too hard and loses his balance!  haha I love his guy!!  He won't smile for pictures unless he sees my face so I have to hold the camera and just guess where his face is!! haha so he is looking up in most pictures! 

Cavin Loves food

Cavin has found a new love, he loves LOVES food!!  This boy can't seem to get enough, he likes it all!!  So far he has eaten, rice cereal, pears, sweet potatoes, apple sauce, prunes, and oatmeal. he loves it all.  He eats so fast and wines in between bits, (apparently I'm just too slow)!  He preferences food over milk so I have make him nurse first, but if he sees a bowl or spoon around he won't nurse.

 Good Morning MOM!!

 We went to the Mall and went store to store and got candy, it was a fun day, I think Cavin will like it more next year!!  He was ready for a nap!

Five Months

 

 Cavin's 4th month was not a easy one, He had 2 ear infections, and a Cold, he threw up for the first time and for a few days, This was his first time being sick and it wasn't fun!!  He wasn't sleeping well so I took him to the dr.  I just had that mommy feeling something was wrong.  We got him on some medicine and he is finally better.  A sick baby is the worst thing in the world!  I just felt so bad for him, I kind of spoiled him because he only slept in my arms.  So we have been working on sleeping again but he's doing a lot better now!  

Cavin has lots of tricks, he can ALMOST crawl he gets where he wants to by rolling and scooting.  He loves to move  he likes to talk and make noises.  We have started eating cereal and seems to really like it.  He can sit up but just gets off balance sometimes.  Cavin is still in 3-6 month clothes but getting smaller!  

Everyone still always says what a happy smiley baby he is.  Mom and Dad really love you baby Cavin!! we still call you Nugget and  Cav.  

We love Cavin more and more everyday!!  he is so fun and makes me so happy.  

  

He's a Mover

Cavin loves to move!!  He likes to be held because he doesn't want to be left on the floor but up and watching the world.  I love to hold him but even in my arms he's a wiggler so I needed help!!  I got on line and found some toys I thought he'd like and I was wrong he doesn't like them, he loves them!!!  He loves to jump and move non stop!!  Not the best pictures, because Yes I use them as my babysitter, I know I'm a bad mom, but I have to cook dinner and get some cleaning done and this is the best way!!  Cavin loves to watch me and we can talk and play together!
