This was a crazy month! Cavin got his first tooth about Christmas time and with it got a cold, which is normal, but after we broke the first tooth he got a fever or 104 it was horrible so for 4 days of a high fever, we where all just ready for him to be healthy but he got another cold and broke his second tooth! so we have two bottom teeth, then he got a cough and so I took him to the doctor because he wasn't getting better and found out he has an ear infection...... man so All of January was sick month for him. This last week of January his 8th month birthday he is actually healthy and happy again! But man a month of grummy sick baby was no fun!
I started a foot zoning class, which I love, and so Marcus got to spend a whole 3 days with Cavin, I think we all loved it! I missed Cavin so much but it was so good for me to recharge and fall in love with being a mom again! Marcus taught Cavin to stand up on things, so he can pull up to a stand!! oh boy!! I have my hands full now! he will pull up on everything even if it's not strong enough to hold him so then he gets mad or falls and I have to watch him with eagle eyes so he doesn't fall too hard! He thinks he can stand though because he'll stand up and forget he needs to hold on and just lets go and some times he can stand for a second or two and others he falls right down and looks at me with those sad eyes, saying "mom, what did you do to me??!"
Cavin has two teeth and bites us a lot, and it hurts!! He can stand for 4 or 5 seconds alone with out help and he can stand for 20 minutes or so holding on to something! He loves to eat and puts everything in his mouth! He can crawl like a normal baby but still does his own way from time to time if he wants to get somewhere fast! He is in 6-9 month clothes. He is still waking up once or twice a night, we are really focusing on that this month! (wish us luck!) Cavin, loves his bath time he kicks and splashes and just loves it! He is trying to talk, baby talk, but usually just sounds like he is yelling/screaming! (he thinks it's so funny, me not so much!!! :))
He is really loving to play with toys now, he loves his cars and singing bear. He loves signing time movies. He also loves other kids and babies but is too ruff with them so need to watch him close!
I thought when he was born I couldn't love anyone or anything more, but I was wrong I love this kid more and more every day!! I LOVE being a mom, even if that means cooking and cleaning half the day, I LOVE getting to play with him and cuddle with him! I love that he knows me and when he is sad he just wants his mommy and that makes me so happy!! I Love you Cavin!!
its a lot harder to get cavin to take a picture now, that he just wants to move!!
