We thought we where going in to get Cavin's cast off after 4 weeks of being broken and 3 weeks of this stinky, dirty cast! they took it off and Cavin didn't like that at all! he cried and cried… poor little guy! Then we got X-rays, didn't like that either. They said it looked great but wanted him to wear his old dirty cast 2 more weeks…. the just gave us the same cast with velcro on it, not really a good idea for an 18 month old that can take it off himself! oh well.
Cavin got a sticker and had a hard time really using that arm he acted funny when the cast was off, I'm sure it had that stiff kind of sore feeling.
He was really sad and just wanted to go home! afterward we got fries and hot chocolate and that cheered him up! Cavin isn't liking the doctors office at all, broken arm, shots, and a really loud scared saw to take off the cast. He might be scarred for life….
